Never tells us how human beings inevitably travel the circle? Something really obvious. They arrive on Earth, standing around our physical body of seventy or eighty years, get a job, a series of relationships, do some things, take some bad clothes, watch some TV and then elsewhere.
Or maybe anywhere, depending on your beliefs I guess.

Well, there is a bit more than that, but in essence, that came to the world with nothing, leaving with nothing, and most of us spend several decades in between frantically trying to accumulate ‘things’, skills, careers, property , money, properties - so ignorantly call wealth.

We all want success, and in some degree most of us believe that success is about how much we can achieve. “Directly or indirectly, consciously or not, we are taught from an early age that success relates to the acquisition of financial wealth. That is the message we hear again and again, so how could we know or believe anything else?

“Hey, look what I’ve done with my life, I have accumulated all these things, I am a success.”

“Oh, we are so proud of David, he is now a doctor (tick), driving a beautiful new BMW (another cross), and is dating a beautiful young lawyer of good family (bingo).”

Tick, Tick, Tick … boat mother (mom) and dad, your son is really a success!
The fact that he is a selfish, arrogant, rude pain in the ass does not matter. To the extent that you can tell your friends at the club about his’ success’ (Doctor, Lawyer, BMW), life is good. After all, we know that success is not about what kind of person is your child, or it could turn the world, but rather, what we can get it. You gotta look after number one, because nobody will. Yes, everything about Numero Uno.
